Kev and Richard are on the bank at Bluebell Fishery in Northamptonshire, one of the best mixed day ticket venues in the land and home to huge carp, tench and todays target, bream.
Slabs, snotties, dustbin lids whatever you call them, all in all bream have had a pretty bad press down the years. But boy do our Improve Your Coarse Fishing boys prove they are worth catching.
The plan is to illustrate how bream have switched onto carp anglers baits. The bottom line is that when it comes to fishmeal, bream just cant help themselves. And the boys prove the point, by helping themselves to some beauties.
Kev gets busy with his pole at short range on Wood Lake and straight away bags a brute of a bream: Slab A Dab Ding Dong!
Meanwhile, Richard is on the larger Bluebell Lake where groundbait feeder tactics with pellets of course are the order of the day.
Learn about the importance of bait presentation, and feeding accurately, plus how to draw a big fish away from the feed area without spooking the other fish in the shoal.
All in all this is a masterclass in putting your own personal best bream on the bank on your next session. Bream on!

5th Annual Carp Fishing Holiday 2007 – Manicure Lake – Day 7
Back in the east bay for a dawn start and there is somthing pulling my string that leaves me confounded. Later in the day I catch one of the better fish in the lake and it simply takes my breath away.

Episode 6 Carp Fishing at Winsford Bottom Flash with Harry and Friends after some River Carp
In this video Harry has a short session over night at Winsford Bottom Flash in Cheshire. He uses a marker float and finds a deeper channel about 50 yards out to fish to. First cast he catches his first ever Bream and the video shows a typical Bream take. The Flash holds a good head of Large un-known Carp and a lot of Large River Bream. The Flash is a very beautiful relaxed place to fish. Harry talks us through his rigs and the baits that hes using. We capture night fall and Paul checking out the Sexy Models in the new diem-angling gear insert. On this session we had no Carp, but we do capture the angler on the next peg playing and landing a nice Mirror Carp. The flash also holds some specimen Roach and some nice sized Tench. Nige Williams and Nigel Botherway Carp Fishing
Nige Williams is best known for his pike fishing exploits but over the years he’s been developing his own lake which he has stocked with carp. He invited Nigel Botherway for an overnight session to talk fishing and do some catching. These are two great anglers doing what they do best.
