What are some home-made carp fishing baits?
i am looking how to make my own carp bait to go fishing in some local rivers. i usually use corn and night-crawlers and would like to see if a home-made bait could be more effective. any recipes or suggestions? thanks!
I use bread mixed with vanilla( fake or real, it does not matter). Just get a ziploc bag, stick a few pieces of bread in, and pour over the vanilla. Some water may also help spread the sent around. However, if you use allot of water, the bread will turn out mushy and will be hard put on the hook with out it falling off( letting it sit and pouring out excess water would help in this situation). Last, you could add some flour or cornmeal to help the bread to keep on the hook.

Best carp fishing bait????
Going carp fishing this weekend on the Seneca river, new York. Need some homemade carp bait recipes. i really want to catch one. Thanks
I use one that is made out of peanut butter, bread, a little bit of water, and some sort of topping. Whether that be vanilla extract or something else. I’ve caught around a half a dozen carp this year on it, and one catfish.

Carp Bait Secret Ingredients?
My boyfriend is usually a bass fisherman, but had recently gotten into carp fishing. I was wondering if you could give me some secret ingredients that you put in your dough balls that attracts and helps you catch the carp?

It depends on conditions. Just like any other fish, there are times when they bite like crazy and there are times when they all seem to be gone. Find someone who looks like they live for fishing and ask them when the Carp bite best.
In general, Carp bite best on live worms or stinky cheese baits. The more the bait stinks, the better. Carp typically feed on the bottom so that’s where you want to fish. This same method might also bag you some Catfish.
Few people will eat Carp because they’re terribly bony but I think they’re about the best tasting fish there is if you smoke them! If the females are about ready to mate, their eggs are also tasty. I usually fry them with potatoes and onions. Delicious!
what is the best bait to catch carp/buffalo fish?
well i went fishing saturday and caught a 26 pound buffalo and now i like the fishing
I have caught carp with both bread and dough balls. So i would recommend them both. Don’t listen to the people saying stinky stuff works. They just think that if carp and buffalo are bottom-feeders, they like stinky stuff. Not true. That is Channel Catfish & Bullhead that like the stinky stuff.
Carp love sweet foods, dough nuts, soft candy, twizzlers, stuff like that.
when im fishing for carp and i see a carp in the water i throw my bait right in front of it and it swims away?
Generally speaking when you can see carp they are breading or bedding and not feeding. If either of those are the case you will see them jumping as well.
Fish right on the bottom or just of it using worms.

Can you name any good surface fishing baits for carp etc?
