hi iv just stared carp fishing and i dont now how to set up a carp rod can u give me some advice pleas?
Just get down your local tackle shop and ask them. If the shop is any good they will bend over backwards to help you. afterall all the bits of gear they will sell you will make their time worthit. Or if you can get down your local lake and ask any fisherman or owner.

use a heavy type rod and a steel leader. the best bait is those biskits you buy in a can the cheap ones soak the balls you make to use vannilla extract aso use 2 hooks . they are a good fight but not very good to eat. to cook a carp they say put him on a bourd bake him in the oven for a few hours . then throw away the fish and eat the bourd lol
