Carp Fishing Tackle Online

my boyfriend is a keen fisherman and is looking to purchase a fishing pole. He has approx £150 to spend. He usually uses a rod and reel and fishes commercial fisheries where you find decent carp to 20lbs but also roach bream and barbel. He has used a friends pole once and is hooked!! pardon the pun! can anyone make any suggestions on which would be a best buy?

I like the Uglystick. It is a quality rod and very strong for carp fishing. For reels, I like Daiwa, but there are many others that will do to. It all depends on where you are fishing. Go online and search and you should find some good reviews.
