Up comes the last session of the first week. I (only just) manage a (very) late start as the beer intake, pizza’s and methi chicken’s begin to take their toll. I retrive the weeks experience’s stored under ‘fishing’ and let my mind switch to ‘auto-pilot’.

about two weeks should see it done but to be honest carp in rivers are nomadic and pre-baiting might not have the effect you desire

i caught a tench about the same size do u no how big that was.Hair rigs always work.

From an American perspective its so interesting to see the difference in value we put on these fish. Those same carp grow huge here and are considered trash fish. If you catch one you hope it dies, no unhooking matts or any of that. Our bass, trout and salmon, those are prized fish.

While sitting in these swims I got done over at least half a dozen times. I used three main rigs that all have there day but not one fish got turned over (the difference between a good day and a blank) by any of them that day?
