I am lying back by a magic carp lake, a cold beer chilling my right hand. The sun’s beams are a penetrating warmth all over me, while a welcoming south-westerly blows in a cooling breeze. I drift off into a summer’s daydream of epic battles and big golden carp. Cypry Heaven. Can life get any better than this?

Great video; I’ve never tried carp fishing, but considered it often when the bass aren’t biting. In the Ca, Bay Area – there isn’t much pressure on carp. Maybe someday i’ll hook up on a lunker like that! Beautiful fish. Take a look at my channel if you want – I’ve got some fish on there too, no carp though…yet.

They might be a pest where you come from but here in Europe we have a different attitude and they are a highly prised as a hard fighting fish

People like you though find fault where ever they go and so should be ignored as youre the real pest.

Fish easy waters with lots of carp and build up your confidence in a few baits and standard rigs. Learn about location and the underwater environment. Keep everything simple and remember to have fun.
