5th Annual Carp Fishing Holiday 2007 – Manicure Lake – Day 3
Feeling confident in the bait and location I have decided to constantly ring the changes in the search for a hooked fish. No point sitting there and hoping that it will all come right, because it won’t. Moving swims and searching for a fish to mug is the order of the day.

i used a 3 oz lead with a short 6inch rig
size 6 hook (strong) and 25lb line
we call it a bolt rig and it hooks the carp on pickup of the bait.

hey mate i was wondering what rig u used to catch that carp? i understand if u dont want to say. ive been fishing float for a while and now starting with the leads. i use a paternoster rig and a running sinker. are these any good? i live in Australia and carp isnt loved much. so im embracing my inner European and catching some nice commons. not to forget im releasing em aswel shhhhh! cheers:D
