everyone has heard the phrase "you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink". same thing here. a fish doesn’t always want to eat. throwing a lure in his face doesn’t make him hungary. if you see a fish and want to cast to that particular fish, throw the lure a few feet away from him and reel it in front of him. make the fish curious and make it want to come after the lure. if you threw the lure in front of him and he didn’t hit it he wasn’t hungary. tie on a good sized buzz bait and pull it around him, that usually irritates the fish making him want to shut up the noise rather than hitting it out of hungar. hope that helps out good luck and good fishin
