whats the best bait to use for carp fishing??
I agree with all the other sensible answers, however they have left the best one out,try macaroni cheese (the cheaper the better, Morrison’s betabuy @40p a tin is brill) hook it on a size 10 hook & fish it in the margins(you won’t cast it out ) you won’t find a better bait for carp, tench, bream.thread a small piece onto a smaller hook size 16 or less for roach, rudd, crucian carp, it’s messy, BUT IT WORKS.
Maybe carp is an anagram?

Boilies every time, Or if i dont have any boilies Luncheon meat on the hook and loosefeed sweetcorn.
Boiled baits or boilies are balls of soft paste basically made from semolina, eggs and various flavours and colouring. The paste is rolled into balls and boiled in a pan until they become hard. There is an almost endless selection of ready made boilies available, but they do tend to be a bit expensive. The most economical way to use boilies is to make your own

Wheaties cereal works real good. Just take a hand full of wheaties and form a ball around a treble hook and make sure you cover the entire hook, because carp are bottom feeders and your ready to go. This is how my father in law fishes.

The true best bait for carp fishing is to get some hotdogs and unsweetened kool-aid. Mix up the kool-aid and let the hotdogs soak in that about a week. Hook it on and there you go. Another bait that works well is cornmealand karo and syrup rolled into a ball and boiled

I went with my Father in Law and he used sweetcorn, luncheon meat and boilies. If you wipe your hook with an item of ladies regalia, or some pheromone drops, the pheromones are supposed to attract carp.
