Carp Bait Secret Ingredients?

My boyfriend is usually a bass fisherman, but had recently gotten into carp fishing. I was wondering if you could give me some secret ingredients that you put in your dough balls that attracts and helps you catch the carp?
Thanks everyone! =]

Get some Bar-S hot dogs and leave them outside for a day or to then use those. You will get Carp and Catfish all day long.

Anything that smells rank. You can use cheese, a little meat, and corn in the dough balls, It works well in the St. Lawrence seaway.

just go to the local bait shop and get some commercial flavored dough balls or canned corn!
But if you make your own use anise oil, vanilla extract or strawberry flavoring!
and for a bounus add so fish oil to your dough balls!

3 tea spoons of lard…5 heaped spoons of blood meal [+/-].. half cup coarse ground buckwheat hull flower…kneed into past thick enough to hold together…add a cup [+/-}of meal worms and squish untill well blended...then spread out on a cookie sheet and let the sun evaporat excess moisture from the mess,...and when it's dryed thick enough to where you can peel the whole thing off in a single pull, it's 'bait'.
Pinch orange peels over the fresh removed bait...both sides.. and dry the 'down' side as you did the other side.
Works as good as any thing i've ever bought, or brewed up, or heard told about.
[the finished sheet of bait is only about a quater inch thick.. and the meal worms should be crushed, so there moisture is absorbed by the buckwheat.. and thick orange peels have more juce in then than thin skin oranges]

Use about half of a day old loaf of sliced white bread, (crust removed), vanilla extract(4oz or so) 1 egg, a little water. Mix all ingredients together adding water for correct firmness. Works great in Texas, Louisiana, and AZ
